We are painfully aware of the increase in local and national Antisemitic dangers. This fall and winter, Congregation Beth Jacob is sponsoring programs to empower both Adults and Teens. More than just an alarm bell ringing, these programs provide context, pragmatic tools, and strategies for facing the ugly reality of antisemitism in its various insidious forms.

Adult Workshop 2: Our Kids on the Frontlines
Antisemitism in K-12 and universities. Through 5 real-life case studies, Naya will present different types of attacks on Jewish identity our children face and how we can best prepare not just our children, but the community at large to reclaim truth and advocate for our people.

Teen Program 2- Jewish Pride and Israel – Anti Zionism and Anti Semitism

The world’s attention on Israel and their internal policies has become mixed with antisemitism.  In this interactive workshop, you’ll learn about the history of antisemitism and how anti-Zionism is being used today to delegitimize Israel and the Jewish people, and why it’s important to separate Israel’s right to exist from the current discussions of Israel’s politics.  They are not the same.
