Dear Valued Friend of Congregation Beth Jacob, 

As we eagerly await the arrival of our annual CBJ gala titled “I am CBJ”, scheduled for Sunday, May 19th, 2024, we want to extend an invitation and ask for your valued participation. 

In years past, our gala has always been an evening of joy and communal spirit, and this year it will feature an auction. In years past, this event brought together over 230 individuals from across the Bay Area but also successfully raised more than $200,000 for our community! These funds have been instrumental in supporting our organization's mission of serving over 500 families in the Bay Area as a non-profit religious and community home for every person. 

For almost nine decades, Congregation Beth Jacob has been a steadfast home for both a thriving civil and spiritual community. Our enduring success has been made possible through the kindness and support of individuals just like you who have made every dream possible. At CBJ, our core values revolve around fostering connections, embracing inclusivity, and nurturing multi-generational bonds, which allow our congregation to remain a welcoming and supportive home for all. 

Currently, we're collecting items and services to donate for our gala, and we are kindly asking you for your support. Any contribution you can provide will support our fundraising efforts, allowing us to provide essential programs and community services, ensuring our long-term community stability. Your contribution will be prominently showcased at our event visually, and acknowledged on our website, in our thank-you email, and in our event program. Moreover, your generous donation is completely tax-deductible, providing an extra benefit to your generosity.  And, of course, our profound thanks.
