Judaism offers a wealth of wisdom about death, all of which begins with deep respect for the human body. Taharah is the purification ritual performed by the Chevra Kadisa (literally, the "holy society") before the body is buried. Professor Louis Newman is offering a Taharah training session for members of the three traditional congregation of the peninsula: CBJ, Kol Emeth, and Peninsula Sinai.
