Responding to AntiSemitism: Parent and Middle School Student Workshops.

You may have heard about recent AntiSemitic graffiti and hateful comments at local schools. Each event is concerning, the cluster is more concerning. How do we best support our children to speak out against hate? How do we communicate that hate is never ok and cannot be allowed to go unnoticed, while also not escalating the problem? On Shabbat, March 18th, speakers from the Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) will be at CBJ to do two workshops with our families about AntiSemitism.

11:30am-12:45pm, Adriana Lombard, JCRC's Director of Public Education, will speak to our middle school students about how to respond when they encounter AntiSemitism.

12:15p - 1pm, Karen Stiller, JCRC's Senior Director of Jewish Affairs, will speak to parents and any interested adults about how to support our kids in today's environment.

Big thank you to Morah Heather Hoffman, who has offered to hang-out with students too young to attend the workshop. Adriana's workshop is restricted to students in 6th, 7th & 8th grades.

Please indicate how many people will be attending (kids and adults together).

Sorry, Registration has ended.
