Dear CBJ Community,

This past year has brought much personal joy (amidst a painful world situation) to our lives. Our beloved daughter and granddaughter, Emily has married a wonderful man Mike Dressler. We want to be able to celebrate as a community by honoring Emily and Mike with an Aliyah and a special blessing and a kiddish where we all gather and share joy. Please join us at services June 8 – we’ll do blessings at both services.

At that service, Mark and Gilah Abelson will share stories of their recent trip to Israel devoted to volunteering, being present amidst Israel’s pain and engaging in the difficult issues of the moment.

We’ll look forward to celebrating and learning together.
