Committees

Outreach and Welcoming: Recruiting, welcoming and connecting new members to CBJ, and helping keep all members connected to CBJ throughout the year. 

Cares Committee: Supporting members of the congregation at times of illness, need, loss, and joy.

Israel Action Committee: The Israel Action Committee strives to increase our community's connection with Israel. We seek to create opportunities for engagement, advocacy, partnership and travel.

Social Action: We offer a variety of projects throughout the year. This includes serving meals at Maple Street Shelter, hosting homeless families at CBJ through Home & Hope, and partnerships with existing local, national and international organizations.

Fundraising/Development

Communications: Pursuing Help make CBJ's website shine and reach out to our membership. This includes marketing, publicity, online connections and social media.

Sisterhood: Sisterhood creates opportunities for women of all ages meet regularly for social activities, support, wisdom, learning, recreation, spiritual endeavors and service to CBJ and the greater community. I would like to volunteer to get involved with Sisterhood.

Men's Club: Help organize activities and opportunities for the men of CBJ. May include study, service, or purely social gatherings. 

Religious School: This is the place where every student discovers the importance of Jewish values, learning, and community. I would like to be contacted about being a room parent or helping with the Religious School.

Youth: Assist with our youth committee and teen programming. 

Neighborhood Communities: Support the neighborhood coordinators in hosting or organizing Shabbat Dinners and other neighborhood get-togethers.
