Worldwide, Jews will be completing the annual cycle of Torah reading on Simchat Torah. After completing the reading from the sacred Torah scroll, we roll back to the beginning to start all over again, reading the story of creation. We celebrate this holiday with energetic dancing with the Torahs, with music, and community.

Since the traumatic attack of Israel on Simchat Torah - October 7, 2023, our joy is tempered by the terrible losses on that date. During Simchat Torah, amidst our joy and celebration – we will create space to honor memory and pray for peace and the safe return of all hostages.
