Seeing Beyond the Words: Creative Responses to Sacred Texts

Bring your curiosity, your love of Torah, your creative spirit, and favorite art supplies  to CBJ on Friday, October 14th.   Join us as we dive into sacred text, sharing personal reflections before giving unique creative expression to the text’s meaning.  Some of us might choose to paint or draw the text’s scene, using colors, images, shapes, textures, symbols, or words; others might be moved to write poetry or compose a piece of music.  This is an affirming, hands-on experience, open to all; no artistic skill is necessary!
