We are excited to launch our new one-hour Ruach Shabbat Family Service, led by Jeni and Bill. This dynamic and musical Shabbat morning service for families with students in grades 2nd–6th will retain the T’filah, Torah and traditions we loved sharing in Junior Congregation, with additional opportunities for children to connect with God, prayer, and community.

For the past several years, religious school classes each took turns leading six to eight of our weekly Junior Congregation services. This year, instead, we will come together once a month as one community. Students will incorporate what they are learning with Cantor Barbara and Jeni during our new Wednesday T’filah service and each grade will spend time in class exploring specific prayers that they will then help lead at Ruach Shabbat.

We’ll also be keeping track of student Shabbat service attendance so that we can reach out and support those who may have difficulty attending regularly.

We can't wait to welcome families to a Ruach Shabbat morning filled with spirit, prayer, surprises, blessings, and just the right amount of playfulness to keep our students wondering what the next service will bring.
