Let's join together in donating and volunteering to ensure the success of our annual community service project honoring Martin Luther King Jr!
This year at CBJ we will assemble hygiene kits for local elementary students whose families are struggling economically. (Read here about the need.)
This event is part of the Peninsula Multifaith Coalition's MLK Day of Service, which will feature many other volunteer opportunities for all ages at other synagogues and churches.
For the project at CBJ, you can participate in these ways:
SHOP OR DONATE:
- Sign up HERE and go shopping or purchase online from our Amazon Wish List HERE. Amazon will ship the items directly to CBJ, or you can drop off items by January 13.
- Contribute funds HERE or send a check to CBJ by January 9th and we'll do the shopping! Select "Social Action (Tikkun Olam)" and type "MLK Day" into the additional remarks box.
VOLUNTEER ON MLK DAY:
If you would like to volunteer on January 16th at CBJ or at another congregation's service project, please sign up at the Peninsula Multifaith Coalition site HERE. Registration is required for all volunteers. The project at CBJ is called "Care Kits for Elementary School Students."
