Community Safety & Security Training Session (in-person ONLY)

We encourage our community to join this safety and security training session. All adults in the congregation are welcome to attend, it’s not just for our ushers and greeters.

This security training offered by the Federation’s Director of Community Security, Rafi Brinner, provides a roadmap for dealing with unexpected situations. The presentation and Q&A format will cover how to maintain situational awareness, bring a security mindset to receiving visitors, and engage a run-hide-fight response when confronted with a worst-case scenario. There will be two short videos to illustrate the material.

The training will last about 90 minutes, including a review of emergency exits. We will have time at the end for schmoozing with other congregants and provide dinner for all to enjoy.
