Come join other CBJ members to view and discuss art pieces relating to the Tanakh (Hebrew Bible), led by our own outstanding docent, Bill Futornick. We will also briefly view the museum's Holocaust Memorial. This will be followed by a nosh break in the cafeteria. After our tour, you can stay to view the museum's new exhibition on the Impressionist artists, Édouard Manet and Berthe Morisot.

Registration will be limited and will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. Please register early to guarantee a spot. Registration closes on October 15th. Registration is not a guarantee of a place on the tour. If we have reached the tour maximum, we will contact you and let you know you are on the waiting list. Your charges will be refunded. You will receive a confirmation by October 17th, as to whether you have a space on the tour, or are on the waiting list. Attendees are responsible for arranging their own transportation to the museum, or possibly arranging car pools. Free parking should be available outside the museum.

 

Schedule:

• 10:00 a.m. - Arrive at the museum

• 10:15 a.m. - Meet at the Holocaust Memorial (outside)

• 10:30 a.m. - Jewish Art Tour begins (included with museum admission). View and discuss art pieces relating to                                    the Tanakh (Hebrew Bible) led by Bill.

• 11:45 a.m. - After the tour - A nosh break! Continue the conversation with snacks, beverages, or lunch at the                                     museum cafe.

• 12:30 p.m. - Feel free to wander & explore the museum at your own pace

• Optional: Visit the special exhibition of Édouard Manet and Berthe Morisot - French Impressionist artists. Register for these additional tickets below.

 Museum admission and the special exhibition are free to museum members. Museum members should register below and we will provide your ticket to the Jewish Art Tour and the special exhibition. We hope museum members will join us and avoid the "members-only" crowds for the special exhibition.

For non-members of the museum, museum admission including the Jewish Art Tour, and the special exhibition, are two separately ticketed events. You will get a 20% off discounted group rate for both. Non-members can register and purchase tickets for the Art Tour, or the Art Tour and special exhibition. We encourage you to attend both.
