Elina Kaplan, President of Alliance for Constructive Ethnic Studies (ACES), will share curriculum changes, such as Ethnic Studies, that are being introduced throughout California. ACES is a diverse, nonpartisan coalition working to remove narrow ideological agendas from Ethnic Studies, enabling curricula that inspire mutual respect, fight racism, and celebrate ethnic accomplishments. Elina will present what is under consideration in California districts, how certain curricula contribute to antisemitism, the implications for our Jewish students and the Jewish community, and what we can do.
