CBJ Religious School lives our community’s values. Every student is welcomed and accepted as they are, whatever their challenges, and every student is encouraged to grow to be more. To care more. To love more. To question and think more.

I am especially excited about our new Vav program this year, aimed primarily at sixth graders. Students are engaging in “Service Learning," participating in a different mitzvah each week. Their studies center on the mitzvot they are doing. These will include visiting seniors at Moldaw Residences, preparing lunches for clients of Samaritan House, cleaning up trash from the streets, preparing and delivering mishloach manot, checking the knots on our talitot, and more.

Every grade is thriving. We were the only religious school on the Peninsula that remained open for in-person learning through the pandemic. During those two years, our teachers and students learned to hold classes outdoors. Many found they liked our outdoor spaces so much they did not want to go back. This year, we have students learning and playing in the yard as well as in the building!

We are so excited to welcome all of our students back this year!
