Jewish Study Network - The Jewish Study Network is a team of rabbis and educators dedicated to raising the level of Jewish literacy in the Bay Area. Among its many educational activities, the JSN offers stimulating classes, holiday celebrations and weekend retreats. The Jewish Study Network proudly serves as a resource pool of Jewish educators for local schools, synagogues and institutions.
Lehrhaus Judica - Lehrhaus Judaica is a unique non-denominational Jewish studies adult school. Every course is open to the general public, and all interested adults are welcome, regardless of age, religion, or ethnicity.
TheTisch - Rabbi Menachem Creditor's Writings - Rabbi Menachem Creditor serves as spiritual leader of Congregation Netivot Shalom in Berkeley, CA. He is founder of ShefaNetwork: The Conservative Movement Dreaming from Within, co-founder of KeshetRabbis: The Alliance of Gay-Friendly Conservative/Masorti Rabbis, and author of TheTisch: a Jewish Spiritual commentary. A published author and popular speaker on questions of Jewish Identity, Leadership, and Spirituality, and one half of Shirav, a Jewish folk-music group, he regularly visits communities around North America and Israel. Rabbi Creditor earned his master's in Jewish Education and rabbinic ordination from The Jewish Theological Seminary of America.
CONSERVATIVE MOVEMENT
The Rabbinical Assembly - The Rabbinical Assembly is the international association of Conservative rabbis. Since its founding in 1901, the Assembly has been the creative force shaping the ideology, programs, and practices of the Conservative movement, and is committed to building and strengthening the totality of Jewish life.
The Conservative Masorti Movement in Israel - The Conservative/Masorti Movement represents the passionate and engaged center of the Jewish people. At home in both tradition and modernity, Conservative/Masorti Judaism strives in everything to express and communicate a deep commitment to the values, concepts, and rituals of our tradition. It is equally committed to the values of individual conscience, democracy, equal rights and protection for all humanity and other hallmarks of Western culture to enrich and deepen our lives as practicing Jews.
The Jewish Theological Seminary - The Jewish Theological Seminary (JTS) is the academic and spiritual center of Conservative Judaism worldwide, encompassing a world-class library and five schools, including the Albert A. List College of Jewish Studies, The Graduate School, William Davidson Graduate School of Jewish Education, The Rabbinical School, and the H. L. Miller Cantorial School and College of Jewish Music. JTS trains tomorrow's religious, educational, academic, and lay leaders for the Jewish community and beyond.
United Synagogue of Conservative of Judaism - The United Synagogue, founded in 1913, is the association of Conservative congregations in North America, today consisting of approximately 700 affiliated synagogues and over one-and-a-half-million members.
Women’s League for Consevative Judaism - The largest synagogue based women's organization in the world. As an active arm of the Conservative/Masorti Movement, we provide services to 600 affiliated women's groups in synagogues across North America.
