TEACHER KAREN'S RETIREMENT
After close to 300 toddlers, over 11,000 diaper changes, and 3,300 plus work-hours, Karen Stein is retiring from her teaching position in the Toddler Class at Beth Jacob. As I write this I can hardly believe it, and am not quite sure what we will do without her in the Preschool.
Karen has been lovingly teaching toddlers and guiding parents for the last 22 years, and she is irreplaceable. As one parent said, “She has been so wonderful, kind, patient, and loving to the children as well as to the parents.” Along with teaching toddlers, Karen was instrumental in starting the preschool here at Beth Jacob. She worked with the first Preschool Committee, was part of the interviewing team for the director search and an active member of the Committee for many years.
I know you will all join me in thanking her for sharing her teaching talents, and her heart with all of us, and in wishing her all the best of things to come.
