Lehrhaus, the Aleph Society & Kevah Adult Learning Opportunity

talmud

Lehrhaus, the Aleph Society and Kevah, are offering a very special learning opportunity Bay Area wide. There will be cohorts in Marin, San Francisco, Palo Alto, North Peninsula, and Berkeley, studying Talmud simultaneously (one Sunday a month for the 2011-12 academic year), and between monthly sessions, learning through Aleph Society’s curriculum that will be posted on their website.

The program culminates with an exclusive event with Rabbi Adin Steinsaltz. The North Peninsula cohort is taking place at the Peninsula JCC in Foster City. Learners must apply before registering. The application page is accessible from Lehrhaus’s home page (lehrhaus.org), or at this direct link.

Help us build a community of Talmud students. Lehrhaus Judaica, the Aleph Society, and Kevah, in partnership with the PJCC, are seeking curious, committed and community-minded adults to become the first North Peninsula cohort of Aleph Fellows for the 2011-12 academic year. Aleph Fellows meet one Sunday morning a month for nine months, to engage in chevruta study (partner study) and discussion, participate in webinars, and attend an exclusive event in the spring of 2012 with Rabbi Adin Steinsaltz, one of today’s greatest Talmud scholars.

To apply, please visit www.lehrhaus.org.
