Located in Redwood City, California and founded in 1930, Congregation Beth Jacob is a liberal egalitarian conservative synagogue that emphasizes intergenerational community, life-long study and individual participation.
Led by Rabbi Nathaniel Ezray and Ritual Director Bill Futornick, we pride ourselves on our diverse backgrounds and on the nurturing, caring relationships that develop with each other, our clergy, and our professional staff.
We encourage congregants to find relevant connections with tradition and embrace Jewish law within a context of thoughtful evolution in light of today’s needs and insights. We welcome newcomers to join our extended family as we create an environment of learning, spiritual growth, and connectedness in which the values of Judaism are brought alive.
